Recently, we had the privilege of working on a stunning Aston Martin DB4, adding a custom Starlight Roof—a feature that brings a breathtaking, starry sky ambiance to the vehicle’s interior. During the installation process, we identified several issues that needed to be addressed to ensure the best possible result. Identified Issues and Solutions:
- Incompatible Wiring and Electrical System
- Issue: The existing electrical system was not compatible with the advanced LED lighting required for the Starlight Roof. The wiring was outdated and posed challenges in ensuring the system’s optimal functionality.
- Solution: Our expert technicians upgraded the electrical wiring to meet the requirements of the LED system. We installed a new, high-performance wiring harness that ensures smooth power distribution, ensuring the starlight system works seamlessly without any glitches. This upgrade also enhances the overall reliability of the car’s electrical components.
- Inadequate Roof Insulation
- Issue: The roof insulation was insufficient to handle the additional heat generated by the LED lights, leading to potential long-term wear and discomfort for the occupants.
