- Issue: The dashboard had begun to show signs of age, with fading gauges, worn-out wood trim, and a control layout that was not as user-friendly as it could be. The original design, while beautiful, was lacking some modern functionality and ergonomics.
- Solution: We carefully refinished the dashboard, restoring the wood trim to its original rich, polished finish. The instrument cluster was restored to perfect clarity, and any faded or damaged gauges were replaced. Additionally, we reorganized the control layout for improved ease of use while maintaining the vehicle’s vintage aesthetic. This included modernizing the control switches while keeping them visually consistent with the DB5’s iconic design.
- Sagging and Worn Seat Cushions
- Issue: The seat cushions in the DB5 had become saggy and uneven over time, affecting both comfort and the overall appearance of the interior.
- Solution: We removed the old seat padding and replaced it with custom-cut, high-density foam that restores the seats’ original contours and enhances long-term comfort. The new foam was designed to provide proper lumbar support and evenly distribute weight, ensuring a more comfortable driving experience while maintaining the seat’s vintage look.
- Faded and Worn Upholstery
