Kartal Auto is proud to have completed a full interior design restoration on the legendary Aston Martin Vanquish. As one of the most luxurious and performance-driven vehicles on the road, the Vanquish deserved an interior that matched its iconic status. During the restoration, our expert team discovered several issues that were impacting the car’s interior design. Here’s a breakdown of the problems found and the solutions we provided to bring this stunning hypercar back to its full glory.
Issue found
1. Faded and Worn Leather Upholstery
Issue:
The leather upholstery, known for its luxurious feel, had started to fade and show signs of wear, particularly on the seats, armrests, and door panels. The sun and daily use had caused discoloration, and the leather’s soft texture had become dry and cracked.
Solution:
We carefully cleaned and reconditioned the leather, restoring its rich color and texture. Using only high-quality, OEM-grade leather, we replaced any damaged sections and re-dyed the surfaces to match the original color. To ensure long-term protection, we applied a premium leather conditioner that replenished moisture and flexibility, keeping the upholstery soft and supple.
2. Scratched and Faded Wood Trim
Issue:
The elegant wood trim around the dashboard, center console, and door panels had become scratched and faded, diminishing the high-end aesthetic of the Vanquish’s interior.
Solution:
Our restoration team carefully sanded and refinished the wood trim, restoring the natural grain and luster. We used a combination of stain and lacquer to enhance the wood’s richness and ensure it matched the original finish. 3. Misaligned and Worn Seat Cushioning
