During our restoration process, we identified several issues within the cabin that needed attention to preserve the vehicle’s sophisticated charm. Issues Identified:
1. Worn Leather Upholstery
- Problem: The premium leather upholstery in the Bentley Arnage had begun to crack and fade over time, especially on the seat surfaces, armrests, and door panels. Years of use had left the leather looking tired and worn.
- Solution: We carefully reupholstered the affected areas with genuine Bentley leather that matched the original color and texture. Using advanced restoration techniques, we re-dyed and conditioned the leather to restore its softness and sheen. The stitching was carefully re-done with strong, matching thread to ensure durability.
2. Damaged Wood Veneers
- Problem: The wood veneers on the dashboard, center console, and door panels had suffered from scratches, dullness, and discoloration due to age and frequent contact.
- Solution: We refinished the existing wood veneers by sanding and polishing to remove the scratches and bring out the rich wood grain. For sections that couldn’t be fully restored, we sourced authentic Bentley wood veneers and seamlessly installed them to match the vehicle’s original aesthetic. The final finish was treated with a durable clear lacquer to ensure lasting protection.
3. Faded and Stained Carpeting
- Problem: The luxury wool carpeting in the footwells and under the seats had become stained, worn, and faded due to years of foot traffic and exposure to dirt.
- Solution: We thoroughly deep-cleaned the carpet to remove any stains and restore its original appearance. For areas that were too worn to salvage, we replaced the carpets with high-quality, custom-fit wool that matched the original pattern and texture. We also added luxury floor mats to protect the new carpets.
4. Sagging and Stained Headliner
- Problem: The headliner in the Bentley Arnage had started to sag, giving the cabin a tired look. The fabric was also stained and had lost its plush appearance.
- Solution: We carefully removed the existing headliner and replaced it with premium Alcantara fabric, chosen for its soft texture, durability, and modern aesthetic. The new headliner was custom-fitted to eliminate any sagging, providing a seamless and sophisticated look.
5. Seat Cushion Deflation
- Problem: The seat cushions in both the front and rear seats had become deflated over time, compromising the level of comfort and support.
- Solution: We replaced the old seat foam with high-density, ergonomic foam that enhances both comfort and support. The foam was carefully shaped to restore the original contour of the seats, ensuring that both the driver and passengers can enjoy a comfortable, plush experience.
