Kartal Auto recently completed an exquisite vehicle wrapping job on the Lamborghini 400 GT in Dubai. During the process, our expert team discovered several issues that needed attention before proceeding with the wrap. We made sure to address these issues thoroughly to ensure the wrap would enhance both the appearance and protection of the vehicle. Below are the five key issues we identified and the solutions we provided to ensure a flawless finish.

Key Issues Found and Solutions:

  1. Surface Imperfections and Paint Damage
The Lamborghini 400 GT’s paint had small imperfections, such as chips and scratches, that could affect the smoothness of the wrap and its overall appearance.
    Solution:
We performed a detailed surface correction, repairing the chips and scratches with touch-up paint and polishing the affected areas. This ensured a smooth, clean surface that would allow the wrap to adhere perfectly and provide a flawless finish.
  2. Dirt and Contaminants on the Surface
We noticed that the car’s surface had accumulated dirt, grease, and other contaminants, which would interfere with the adhesion of the wrap.
    Solution:
Our team conducted a thorough cleaning using professional-grade products, followed by a clay bar treatment to remove all contaminants. This preparation ensured the surface was perfectly clean for optimal wrap adhesion and long-lasting results.
  3. Previous Vinyl Residue
The vehicle had remnants of old vinyl and adhesive from previous wraps, which would cause issues with the smooth application of the new wrap.
    Solution:
We carefully removed all traces of old vinyl and adhesive using specialized cleaning agents and tools. After ensuring the surface was completely free of residue, we began applying the new wrap, ensuring smooth coverage and an impeccable finish.
  4. Uneven Paint Finish Underneath the Wrap
Upon inspection, we noticed that some areas of the car’s paint had an uneven finish due to slight fading or uneven coloring.
    Solution:
We applied a color-matching layer to ensure uniformity in the underlying surface, making the wrap application look even across all areas of the car. This also helped maintain the vibrant look of the wrap and prevented any visible discoloration.
  5. Trim and Moldings Not Fully Protected
The vehicle’s trim, moldings, and edges were exposed to the risk of damage during the wrapping process, which could have led to peeling or misalignment of the wrap.
    Solution:
We meticulously masked off and protected the trim and moldings with high-quality materials before wrapping. After the wrap was completed, we carefully trimmed around these areas for a precise, clean edge, ensuring no damage and a seamless integration with the rest of the vehicle.
