At Kartal Auto, we recently completed a Paint Protection Film (PPF) installation on a stunning Lamborghini Silhouette in Dubai. The vehicle, as a luxury performance car, required top-tier protection from the harsh environmental factors of the region. Issue: The car’s paint had a buildup of contaminants such as road tar, industrial fallout, and other environmental pollutants, making the surface rough and uneven.
Solution: Prior to applying the PPF, we used a clay bar treatment to remove all surface contaminants. This ensured that the paint was smooth and clean, providing a flawless surface for the PPF to bond with. It also helped achieve a better finish for the final protection, preventing any imperfections from being trapped under the film.
5. Difficulty in Achieving a Seamless Finish
Issue: The intricate curves and edges of the Lamborghini Silhouette made it challenging to apply the PPF without visible seams or edges, which could compromise both the aesthetics and the protection.
Solution: Our expert team used precision cutting and installation techniques, ensuring that the PPF was perfectly applied to the car’s unique curves.
