This upgrade involved installing a premium carbon fiber body kit, designed to improve the vehicle’s aesthetics, performance, and overall driving experience. During the process, our expert technicians discovered a few issues that needed attention to ensure the highest quality results. Below are the key problems we identified and the solutions we implemented:

Issues Identified:

  1. Imperfect Fitment of Carbon Fiber Parts
    • Problem: Some of the carbon fiber components, including the front splitter and rear diffuser, were not aligning perfectly with the car’s body. This caused small gaps, leading to an uneven finish that could detract from the visual appeal of the vehicle.
    • Solution: We carefully adjusted and re-fitted the carbon fiber parts to ensure perfect alignment with the vehicle’s body. Our team used precision tools and techniques to ensure a seamless, flush fit, enhancing both the aesthetic and aerodynamic benefits of the upgrade.
  2. Inconsistent Carbon Fiber Texture and Finish
    • Problem: The texture and finish of the carbon fiber parts differed slightly from the original Maserati Ghibli’s factory finish, making the newly installed parts stand out in a way that was not desired by the client.
    • Solution: We performed a meticulous polishing and finishing process to ensure that all carbon fiber components matched the desired gloss and texture of the vehicle’s factory finish. This created a uniform, high-end appearance throughout the car.
  3. Aerodynamic Efficiency Not Optimized
    • Problem: Although the carbon fiber kit was designed to improve aerodynamics, the installation was not optimized to provide maximum downforce and reduced drag, potentially affecting the car’s performance at high speeds.
    • Solution: We fine-tuned the aerodynamics of the carbon fiber components, ensuring the front splitter, side skirts, and rear diffuser were positioned and adjusted for optimal airflow. This significantly improved the vehicle’s stability and handling, particularly at higher speeds.
  4. Weight Distribution Imbalance
    • Problem: The addition of the carbon fiber body kit was affecting the car’s overall weight distribution. This could lead to subtle changes in the handling dynamics, particularly in cornering or high-speed performance.
    • Solution: To address this, we carefully balanced the weight distribution by adjusting the placement of the carbon fiber components.
