During the process, we identified several issues that required attention, and we provided effective solutions to restore the car’s stunning appearance. Issue: The Maserati MC20’s paint had visible swirl marks and fine scratches, likely caused by improper washing techniques and everyday wear.
Solution: We performed a multi-stage polishing process to carefully remove the swirl marks and restore the paint’s glossy finish. After polishing, we applied a protective ceramic coating to lock in the shine and provide long-lasting protection against future damage.
2. Stains on the Interior Upholstery
Issue: The interior upholstery, particularly on the seats and carpets, had accumulated stains and dirt, detracting from the car’s luxurious feel.
Solution: Using advanced steam cleaning and extraction techniques, we removed all stains and dirt from the upholstery. We then applied a protective fabric treatment to prevent future stains, leaving the interior spotless and fresh.
3. Cloudy and Oxidized Headlights
Issue: The headlights were cloudy and oxidized, which not only affected the vehicle’s appearance but also reduced visibility at night.
Solution: We restored the headlights by removing the oxidation and polishing the lenses to a clear finish. To prevent further clouding, we applied a UV-resistant coating that will keep the headlights clear for a longer time.
4. Brake Dust and Contaminants on Wheels
Issue: The wheels were covered with a heavy layer of brake dust and road contaminants, which not only tarnished the appearance but also affected wheel performance.
Solution: We used a specialized wheel cleaner to safely break down the brake dust and contaminants. After cleaning, we applied a protective coating to the wheels to make future cleaning easier and protect them from further buildup.
5. Fading and Discoloration on Exterior Trim
Issue: The exterior trim pieces, including the side mirrors and grille, had begun to fade and lose their original color due to sun exposure.
Solution: We restored the trim pieces using a high-quality plastic and rubber rejuvenator, which brought the trim back to its original color and luster. We finished by sealing the trim with a protective coating to safeguard it from future fading and damage.
